Foodies prepare for amazing food, drinks a good time at the Dallas Food Truck Smackdown. Local food trucks and carts will compete for favorite concept, favorite food and overall winner and you get to be the judge.

The following food trucks are signed up and many more have shown interest:

  • Gandolfos NY Deli
  • Nammi
  • Squeals on Wheels by Screen Door
  • So-Cal Tacos
  • Gennarino’s
  • Enticed Shaved Ice
  • Jackalope Mobile Vegan Kitchen

This Dallas Food Truck Smackdown will be on Friday, October 21st at Sunset Lounge. Tickets can be purchased before the event or there will be a few regular admission tickets at the door.

VIP Tickets include:

  •  Private Happy Hour from 6:30pm-7:30pm with specialty drinks
  • 5 drink tickets for specialty drinks to use after 7:30pm (Cash bar is available.)
  • Eco-Friendly Swag Bags from Yelp
  • Preview of the night’s events
  • All of the benefits included in the regular ticket
  • Giving the World Water Crisis a swift kick in the behind! (And giving clean water!)

Regular admission includes:

  • Sampling each food truck’s dishes
  • Voting for the food truck winners
  • 3 drink tickets for wine or beer (Cash bar is also available.)

This event is sponsored by Ten for 10. They are an all-volunteer, 501(c)3, FOR IMPACT organization. Their primary mission is to provide clean drinking water to people in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through direct donations, dinner parties and social events we raise not only money, but awareness as to what can be done to help combat the water crisis.

Proceeds from this event go to a comprehensive water project in Kicukiro, Rwanda. Ten for 10 has joined forces with other water partners to help provide clean water, safe latrines & sanitation education to 12 primary schools and approximately 17,000 people.
