During Easter, we usually attend a few lunch and dinners between my husband’s family and my family. Although we love to stuff our face at each event, both of our families eat the same exact thing. Every single holiday, it feels like dejavu. We go to one family’s meal and eat then go to the next family party and we are served the same exact thing. I’m talking down to the same gravy. Although, it’s nice to know exactly what we are having at each meal, it gets old real fast.
Instead of adding to the chaos of meals, I always bring a dessert. I like to be able to switch it up every holiday and know that I’m not bringing something that is already on the menu. Also, there are never any complaints when it comes to dessert!
Last year during Easter, I had a 2 week old and couldn’t contribute much. Now that I have a very energetic 1 year old, I feel almost as tired as last year but I’m still pulling everything together to bring a delicious dessert. Since there are so many kids in my family, I thought bunny paw sugar cookies would be a big hit. They’re not only full of flavor but so fun to make (and eat)!
