It’s one of my favorite times out of the year. Not only is the weather cooling off but it’s time for restaurants to start rolling out their ever so desired holiday menus. Their special menus last only a couple of months, but offer some of the most delicious plates around.
After attending a media preview for Cafe Brazil’s holiday menu, I can say that I’m in love… in love with their Jalapeno Pork Chops. Read on.
I’m not a big pork chop fan, but Cafe Brazil knows what they’re doing. These pork chops were to die for. That makes this pork chop so delicious? A special cranberry jalapeno chutney that is generously poured over the pork chop. It’s the perfect amount of flavor and spice to make this plate out of the world.
Of course, there were plenty of other delicious items such as the Banana Bread French Toast which is topped with fresh Bananas and Berries, drizzled with their famous Crème Anglaise and new Homemade Sweet Orange Sauce and dusted with Powdered Sugar and Walnuts.
Other notable items were the cinnamon pumpkin pancakes that are topped with cinnamon butter and powdered sugar. These pancakes offer the perfect amount of pumpkin so that it is not too over bearing and the cinnamon butter is to die for.
Don’t eat too much because you have to leave room for dessert and their famous coffee. Cafe Brazil is offering a Pumpkin Cheesecake with Brownie Walnut crushed then topped with chocolate syrup. Add a cup of the Smores latte and you have the perfect finish to your meal.
For pictures of these delicious items, check out our facebook album: Cafe Brazil Holiday Menu Please note that the pictures do not show the full portion size of each of the items, they were taken at a media event. You will receive much more food than what is pictured.
