Link Love: DFW Blogs

Blog

It’s time for some link love. I love reading new and interesting blogs. This week I’m going to pay my respect to my little blogger family that have Dallas based blogs.  Here we go!

Who doesn’t want a friend that reviews all the bars in Dallas? Everybody can use a friend like Susie in your life.  She is a ball of fun and knows the best places to drink, what nights have the best specials and which bars to stay clear of. SusieDrinksDallas will give you an honest breakdown of the bar and the strength of their drink – which is muy importante. Looking for a particular drink or food special on any given night, she is the one you need to ask. We hosted the #Drinkup2011 recently and plan on throwing many more awesome events in the future. Be prepared. If you don’t already tweet with her @DrinkDallas and like her.

There has been some controversy about her name but I personally, love it. Foodbitch fits her persona and she makes it work. What? It might offend people? They can get over it. She claims that she “isn’t a personal chef, “foodie”, food reviewer or culinary expert. But she is an expert orderer, a lover of the culinary experience, a home cook, entertainer and yes — even a food snob.” You can find her writing about her experiences in raw detail on Foodbitch.me or read even more about her outings on Dallas Observer. Her writing is entertaining, you will not be disappointed! Give her a shout @FoodBitch and like her.

Self claimed “foodie,” Danielle ventures to different restaurants throughout the area and let’s us know what she likes and dislikes about each place. She isn’t afraid to tell you how it is – for the good or bad. Dallas Foodie is a master at keeping you updated with live tweets and pictures from every place she goes in real time. Her timeline is covered with yummy food and drink pictures with captions that will make you starve and salivate all day long. Follow her @Dallas_Foodie for restaurant recommendations and like her.

Known as one of the best Dallas blogs around, I Live in Dallas keeps you updated about culture events relating to the arts, film, literature, activism, and anything else that could possibly open up your mind to something different. They are a great place to look for fun events in Dallas. On a side note, I would like to give a big thank you to IliveinDallas for introducing me to SusieDrinksDallas, Foodbitch, and Dallas Foodie.  If you haven’t checked out our article about the best restaurants in Dallas, then you are missing out. Tweet with them @Iliveindallas and like them.

Show them your love! Don’t forget to tweet with them and like their Facebook pages. If you have a blog, or know of a blog that should be featured, leave a comment and I’ll check it out. What’s your favorite Dallas blog?

Love your site. Since I also am a food junkie, your batenr is right up my Florida alley. Keep writing and tasting. I will know where to go and, when not in N.Y. think I might try the great recipies. Those cream cheese muffs might be my first.
