This past week I was introduced to the Holiday Inn Express #PancakeSelfie Food Truck. I absolutely love food trucks so I couldn’t wait to see what it was all about. I was also intrigued by the pancake selfie. What in the world is a pancake selfie? At first, I thought that Holiday Inn Express was giving out pancakes and asking people to take a selfie with it. I have no issues with taking a selfie for a free pancake but what I found at the Holiday Inn Express Food Truck was something more magical.
Upon arriving, I quickly realized that the Holiday Inn Express Pancake Selfie truck was something much better. I was given an iPhone to take a selfie and within 20 seconds, the picture I took was captured on a nearby computer. A Holiday Inn Express worker, showed me the picture and made sure I thought it was acceptable. Once I approved, he told me I could head to the Pancake truck for my pancake. Then the greatest thing ever happened, I was handed a pancake with a picture of my face on it! How cool is that? Is this not the coolest thing you’ve seen? Another great feature the pancake food truck had was lots of pancake machines that made a pancake in one minute flat. All you had to do was press the button and before you know it, you have a pancake ready to eat.

If you missed the Holiday Inn Express Pancake Selfie Truck, don’t worry. The next time you’re at Holiday Inn Express, stop by their breakfast bar and witness it for yourself. The pancake maker allows you to control the quantity, size, and how brown you want it. Not only do they taste delicious, the smell of freshly made pancakes is one of my favorite!
