This Winter has been crazy, hasn’t it? If you’re in North Texas, you’re probably scratching your head and thinking “what Winter?” Most of our days the past few months have been so nice that I can’t stand it. I’ve been able to enjoy patios, long walks outside (in my shorts), keeping my back door open all day because it feels nicer outside than inside, and so many more amazing things since this weather has been so nice.
Since the weather has been so nice, anytime we get a day that drops below 60 degrees (heaven forbid), I tend to freak out. I want to put on all my Winter clothes, turn on the fire and get cozy on the couch. I know I’m a complete embarrassment to anyone that is from up North, but let’s be real – I’m a born and raised Texan and Texas weather is all that I know.
We’re having some cooler weather this week which has meant I’ve been getting comfy wrapped in a blanket in the couch, I thought I would share some of my favorite ways to enjoy the cooler weather at home.
My husband and I both work at home so we have our daily habits and one includes heading straight to our Keurig in the morning, grabbing a Starbucks K-Cup and enjoying a cup of coffee while going through emails. I love having a hot cup of coffee in the morning to warm me up, and often will drink many throughout the day. The problem? I don’t want to be up all night because of a cup of coffee I’m drinking at 4pm. I found that Starbucks® has Hot Cocoa K-Cups and my life has changed.
The Starbucks® Hot Cocoa K-Cup® pods are made with rich, creamy and real cocoa which gives it a rich and vibrant taste just like the hot cocoa you would get at a Starbucks location (but for much cheaper). Since I like to flavor my coffee, I was even more excited to find out that there are two flavors of hot cocoa: classic and salted caramel. My favorite is the Starbucks® Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa that is perfectly complemented by a pinch of sea salt and a dash of caramel flavor. Sometimes when I feel daring, I’ll add a small amount of chocolate syrup. Starbucks® Hot Cocoa K-Cup® pods can be found where you buy groceries.
