Becoming a new mom has brought me so happiness and joy. These past 5 months has opened my eyes to so many things I didn’t know I was missing in life from overwhelming joy of watching my baby boy pass milestones or waiting anxiously for him to wake up from a nap so we can hang out and play together. Not only have I ever been so happy in my life, I’ve also never been so tired.
I thought I was tired before but having a baby has brought on a whole other level of tiredness and exhaustion. This is like nothing I’ve experienced before. If only I could “sleep when baby sleeps” but who would answer my emails, wash the dishes and grocery shop? I’m slowly realizing that I can’t do it all and that is okay. One way I am able to get done as much as possible is because of my coffee addiction. Every morning I wake up and the first thing I do is make a cup of coffee. It’s part of my daily routine and has been for as long as I can remember. My husband wakes up with a hot cup of coffee every morning also. We have a Keurig that gets used multiple times a day between the two of us. Community Coffee is always brewing at our house. You know when a company has been around for nearly 100 years, they know what they’re doing. Not only do I love their core values, they know how to make a great cup of brew.
I enjoy my coffee iced. Throughout the years, I’ve tweaked a few iced coffee recipes and I finally found one that is perfect. It’s full of flavor and so simple to make.
Easy Iced Coffee Recipe
Ingredients:
- One cup of Community Coffee*
- 1.5 cups of Ice
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Honey or agave
Directions
- Add together all ingredients in blender.
- Blend for 10 seconds
- Enjoy
*If you are using a Keurig to make this recipe, make a 6oz cup of coffee so it will make a smaller, stronger cup of coffee.
This recipe is so simple. I’m able to make it from start to finish in only a few minutes! If you want to add a twist, add chocolate or caramel syrup to the mix. I love adding all types of flavors to switch it up.
