Inspiration For Your She Shed

Blog· Entertainment

Ever since I heard of ‘She Shed,’ I know I instantly needed one. It would be a place that I can escape and be free. I could think outside the box and work on all the DIY projects I want. I would be able to decorate it in fun, inspiring colors and have a space truly to myself. Since this is a dream of mine, I’ve put a few ideas on paper that I thought I would share. I’m hoping you’ll receive some inspiration for your she shed!Inspiration for your She Shed

Color – lots and lots of color. I love my house, but it is very boring when it comes to color. To say that we ‘play it safe’ would be an understatement. Don’t get me wrong, I love my house decorations, but they aren’t good for inspiration and creativity. My She Shed would have lots of bright whites, teal, and pink.

Wifi that isn’t slow. You know what I’m talking about. Nothing is more of a drag than slow internet. It’s such a buzz kill. A wi-fi extender is a must. A strategically placed extender boosts the range of your existing router so the wireless can reach more places. Wi-Fi Extender

A wall of quotes. (So cliche, I know.) There is something about beautiful quotes that I can’t get enough of.

Amazing lighting. As a blogger, lighting for pictures is EVERYTHING. Pictures have to be taken during the day and whatever we are taking a picture of has to have natural lighting. I have found that hue lights are a lifesaver. They have a preset that simulates sunlight. You can set up an “If This Than That” recipe that tells HUE to turn on it’s sunlighting when it rains outside. Talk about magical (and life saving).

Added security.  Just like everybody else, I hate feeling like I’m unsafe or not secure. If I’m in my She Shed, I want to know that I am safe. I don’t want to ever worry that someone might be able to enter or to bother me while I’m in there. I would add the August smart lock. Once it’s set up, not only can you lock and unlock the shed from your phone, you can also send an invite to a friend so she can enter for specific periods of time.

One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. 🔥 Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

Order directly from their site your from your favorite delivery service!
I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❤
The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. 🤦‍♀️

Your child gets to fully immerse themselves into role playing any job they can imagine. From checking animals at the veterinarian, putting out fires as a firefighter, flying planes in an simulator, creating their own personal logo with Bic, or being a weatherman at WFAA - the options are endless! Kidzania activities are for ages 4 and up.

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
