It’s All About Balance – Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt

Blog

The post is sponsored by the NEW Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt but the content and opinions expressed are my own.

At the beginning of this year, I really wanted to put my best foot forward. Everybody was making big goals for this year and having a “word of the year” to help them stay on track. As much as I enjoyed seeing everybody’s ambition, I knew I wanted to be a better me. Whether that meant finding more time for my mental health or crushing a small goal I’ve set for myself.

It seems that a lot of conversations my friends have with me is about their weight and health, but as much as I would love to lose a few pounds, I’ve never been one to stress over my appearance. Does that mean that I love my body all the time? No. Does that mean I think I look better than everybody else? No. Could I probably change a few things about myself? Yes. I’m very content with myself and my body.

With that being said, I am a big advocate of working out and eating well. I’ve been an athlete since I was in elementary school and played division 1 collegiate sports so working out runs deep in my blood. I’m at my best when I’m working out whether that means going for a long run or attending a yoga class. I don’t do it to change my body physically but more for my mental health. It’s amazing what a good workout can do to your mood!

There’s a flip side to everything, right? Even though I encourage everybody to stay active and keep their body moving, I have no problem mindfully indulging in my favorite foods as part of my overall balanced diet.

One of my favorite quotes is “Everything is at its best when it’s balanced.” There is so much truth to that statement and it applies at all areas of life, not just food.

Since I’m all about balance, I want to introduce something that helps me balance my healthy choices with indulgent choices in my life – meet Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt.

Curious what makes Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt different?  It’s made with double the cream versus Oikos Whole Milk Yogurt to create a one-of-a-kind thick and luscious texture that you won’t be able to get enough of! The more I work out and stay active, the more I have a desire for something sweet and Oikes Oh! Double Cream yogurt is the perfect treat to fill my need.

Oikes Oh! Double Cream Yogurt has four different flavors to choose from. There’s a flavor for everybody.

  • Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt Honey Drizzled Blueberry
  • Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt Magnificent Mixed Berry Rhubarb
  • Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt Lemon Sweet Cream Delight
  • Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt Salted-Dusted Caramel Creme

My personal favorite is the Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt Salted-Dusted Caramel Creme. The bottom of the yogurt is packed full of a hyper-indulgent caramel flavored sauce at the bottom which tastes perfectly with the extra creamy yogurt.

I’m always on the go whether it be to one of my son’s many activities throughout the week or heading to a yoga class. I love that I’m able to throw a yogurt in my purse and eat it while I’m out running around. It satisfies my sweet tooth every single time.

If you’re looking for the most indulgent snack, you’ve got to try these out! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Remember to treat your self when necessary and keep your life as balanced as possible. You only live once so make the best of it!

One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. 🔥 Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❤
The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. 🤦‍♀️

Your child gets to fully immerse themselves into role playing any job they can imagine. From checking animals at the veterinarian, putting out fires as a firefighter, flying planes in an simulator, creating their own personal logo with Bic, or being a weatherman at WFAA - the options are endless! Kidzania activities are for ages 4 and up.

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
