Lower Greenville Hotspot: C’Viche

Blog· Food and Drinks

C’Viche is a fresh-casual ceviche and tequila bar located conveniently on Lower Greenville next to Clark Food and Wine Co. This local hot spot it the perfect place to grab a quick but delicious meal that fresh and full of flavor. The funky, Latin American style of food at C’Viche is all made in-house from the freshest ingredients.  The menu is simple and affordable, but don’t let that fool you: The flavors are off the charts — bright, fresh, with lots of citrus undertones and spicy notes that bring out the flavor in the meat itself. We ventured there one night to sample their menu and left with a happy stomach.

Cviche Dallas

Upon entering, you’ll notice a large menu board that you can order off of. We tried a little bit of everything. I was most excited to see scallop C’viche on the menu.

IMG_4285There were lots of seats inside and a few on the patio. We opted to sit at the bar so we can get a full view of the kitchen. I love that there was a full bar. The cool, eclectic mix of spirits at C’viche include hand-picked tequilas, boutique rum, cachaça and pisco. The cocktail menu at C’Viche was crafted to highlight the strengths of these great spirits and features cocktails that are made fresh, hand-shaken from fresh squeezed juices. Sample the spirits straight, chilled, or in flights mixed your favorite way. A selection of local craft, Mexican and South American beer is also on tap to quench your thirst while you bask in your mental vacation.

C'Viche Dallas DrinksC’Viche’s approach to fresh, flavorful seafood is a welcome reprieve for those who are health-conscious, whether they are looking to stay low-fat, low-carb or gluten-free. We started the with Tuna Crudo which is served “poke style” with tamari, ginger and scallions with chips. I couldn’t get enough of this. I’m not a huge tuna fan but the ingredients were the perfect match

Tuna Crudo at C'viche DallasOf course, we had to try some C’viche. First you got to choose a seafood (market fish, scallop, tuna, or shrimp) then you choose a style.

  • Baja, with lime, tomato, onion, jalapeño, avocado, cilantro
  • Peruvian, featuring lime, shaved red onion, corn, aji chile, and cilantro
  • Island, with orange, lime, coconut water, mango, ginger, serrano, and basil
  • Asian, including lemon, ginger, tamari, red chili, cucumber, red onion, and micro herbs

Can you guess by the picture which we chose?

Baja Scallop C'VicheYou guessed it, it’s the Baja Scallop C’viche and I couldn’t get enough! As you all know, I can’t get enough of Mexican food so the avocados, cilantro, jalapeno and scallops were the perfect match.  If you’re looking for a new spot to try, I highly recommend C’Viche!

C’Viche is located at 1922 Greenville Ave. in Dallas, Texas. The restaurant is open for lunch at 11:30 a.m. daily and closes at 10 p.m. Sunday thorugh Thursday, staying open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.  Happy Hour is from 3-7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Convenient, free parking is located in front of the restaurant or in a lot across the street.

One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. 🔥 Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❤
The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. 🤦‍♀️

Your child gets to fully immerse themselves into role playing any job they can imagine. From checking animals at the veterinarian, putting out fires as a firefighter, flying planes in an simulator, creating their own personal logo with Bic, or being a weatherman at WFAA - the options are endless! Kidzania activities are for ages 4 and up.

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
