The 8th Annual No Tie Dinner and Desserts Party drew a crowd that filled the Frontier’s of Flight Museum. The Museum was transformed into a 60’s themed party with afros, mini-skirts and go go dancers throughout. “Desserts a go-go” was the theme of the night and some of the best restaurants in Dallas offered up their best dessert for patrons to try.
What is the No Tie Dinner and Dessert Party? Dinner hosts throughout the year hold dinner parties at their homes with friends and family. To attend a dinner you make a $50 recommended donation to the AIDS Service of Dallas and at the end of the year everyone comes together for the biggest event, No Tie Dessert Party. This party is all about letting loose with your friends while raising money for a good cause. This party is the largest fundraiser for the AIDS Services of Dallas.
Money is raised through your donation for entry in to the party and through the large silent auction held throughout the night. The items that were donated for this auction were endless from jewelry to furniture to paintings. From a quick glance at the list of all items that were sold, I have a good feeling this might be the best year yet for AIDS Services of Dallas.
