5 Reasons to Visit Hawaiian Falls

Blog· Entertainment· Reviews

When Hawaiian Falls asked if I’d like to review Hawaiian Falls – I knew exactly who could help me out with the task…. Introducing my niece, Zowie and nephew, Elijah. They took on the task of checking out the Garland Hawaiian Falls and giving Dallas Socials’ readers the full scoop.

Hawaiian Falls

Check out their review – transcribed from the 8 and 10 year old, so excuse the grammar.

Hawaiian Falls

Last week aunt Betsy let us review Hawaiian Falls. We went to the one over near that burger place my dad likes.

They went to the Garland Hawaiian Falls, and just in case you are wondering – Round Robin is the burger place.

wave slideFirst we had to put on sunscreen and then we put our stuff in lockers. They are mini lockers to put your stuff in.

Then we went on a racing slide. My sister Zowie got a raft for me. You slide on your belly. I figured the third slide is the fastest and I beat everyone. It was really fun and wavy. On the second wave you kind of go in the air.

My favorite part was when there is this splash thing, when you push a button – it squirts out water.

The splash park has many fountains for the kids to play in.

The wave pool is lots of fun. If you hang onto your handles and jump up on the biggest waves, it kind of feels like your flying.

They liked the wave pool, obviously.

We ate a cheese pizza and it was yummy. Then we had to put on more sunscreen because it was hot.

There are a few food options at Hawaiian Falls. And for $10 you can bring in a cooler!

I really liked the big tube that went up and down, but I was afraid to ride it.

Hawaiian Half Pipe is the ride he is referencing. It’s well, a half pipe with a tube for up to 4 people to ride on.

Needless to say, the kids had a blast!  If you are thinking of heading to Hawaiian Falls, here are 5 reasons that you should go!

2. Perfect Size Water Park

Hawaiian Falls offers a water park that is the perfect size. It’s not too big, and not too small. There were slides for those who like your stomach to drop and for those who are WEAK (okay, or those who are young and want just a fun slide).

3. Not Crowded on the Weekdays!

The weather isn’t cooling off just yet. Take a day off of work and head over to the water park. The kids enjoyed the park on a Tuesday and didn’t wait for long in any lines. The wave pool wasn’t too crowded and parking wasn’t awful either! We drove by this past weekend, and while

the slide lines did have people in them waiting – it was no where near as long as you will wait at the larger water parks.

4. Texas is HOT!

Okay, I am so stating the obvious here – but let’s face it… Texas is HOT. And what better way to cool down then lounging in the pool.

5. FUN FUN FUN

At Hawaiian Falls, fun will be had by all! There are water activities for all ages.  If you have kids, there is a great splash area with kid slides.  For those who just want to lounge, enjoy the lazy river.  Thrill seekers, make sure to try out the Torpedo. Want to enjoy some waves? There’s the wave pool!  Okay, I’ll stop. You get the point (but, it really is a fun time.)

Hawaiian Falls Locations

Thanks Hawaiian Falls for the tickets.  We will be back to ride your slides and play in the water soon.

Hawaiian Falls has 5 parks in the Dallas area: Garland, Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke, and Waco.

One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. 🔥 Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

Order directly from their site your from your favorite delivery service!
I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❤
The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. 🤦‍♀️

I wanted to send a quick thank you for all the birthday love yesterday! Birthdays are not my favorite day but it was nice to hear from so many people. Here's to another year around the sun ❤
This weekend we ventured to @kidzaniausa, a city r This weekend we ventured to @kidzaniausa, a city ran completely by kids. Your child gets to fully immerse themselves into role playing any job they can imagine. From checking animals at the veterinarian, putting out fires as a firefighter, flying planes in an simulator, creating their own personal logo with Bic, or being a weatherman at WFAA - the options are endless! Kidzania activities are for ages 4 and up.

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
