Life Made Easier with the Samsung French Door Refrigerator

It’s funny how the things I get excited about have changed over the past couple of years. If you would have told me a 3 years ago that I would be stoked over new house appliances, I would have laughed and laughed hard. Fast forward to 2015 and I jump with joy anytime we work on my house or add a new fun appliance. I have learned that all of the new appliances that are coming out aren’t just pretty but they make my life so much simpler.

Last month we added a Samsung French Door Refrigerator and I’m in love. No really, I could stare at it all day long. Not only has it completely changed the look of my kitchen for the better, it makes cooking and storing food much more functional. I replaced an older version of a side by side Samsung refrigerator and although we had no issues with it all, I didn’t realize how much I was missing out on until my new fridge arrived from Best Buy.

I can’t get enough of the features, here are a few of my absolute favorites.

The Food ShowCase fridge door saves me time and helps keep my fridge organized. I keep all of my regularly used items in the door. This is especially great for all the cooking that I do. All items that are used the most are kept in this area along with a few bottles of water and Ningxia Red.

My food stays fresh longer. Since it’s only my husband and I at the house, we don’t go through tons of food. I cook every night but always have leftovers. For whatever reason, I can’t cook for just 2 people! The Twin Cooling Plus temperature management system maintains a high humidity level in the fresh-food compartment and a lower humidity level in the freezer compartment to prevent freezer burn.

My refrigerator is now clean and organized! No, not just because it’s new but because there is so much space to move things around and to give them their own designated area. With our last refrigerator, everything was just packed in there anywhere it would fit but with the new Samsung, every item has it’s own place. There are five spill-proof, tempered-glass shelves contain small spills to simplify cleanup and provide ample space for storing groceries. An adjustable shelf accommodates tall, oversize items.

I’m saving money since I don’t have to buy water bottles anymore. Thru-the-door ice and water dispenser removes impurities and the water tastes so fresh. Not to mention, we are being eco-friendly by no longer using plastic water bottles regularly.

I’m slowly but surely starting to meal plan and make freezer meals. I found some amazing recipes on Pinterest and gave it a try a couple weeks ago. For $81, I made 16 dinners (for two) and graham cracker freezer cookies. I used to never be able to meal plan because my freezer wasn’t large enough. After I put all of my dinners into the freezer, it didn’t even take up a quarter of my freezer space. I’m now able to save even more money. Another amazing feature of the freezer is a pull out freezer drawer for easy access to our favorite treats and snacks. We like to keep our breakfast items in that freezer for easy access in the mornings.

No matter if you are needing an upgrade or a refrigerator that will help improve your every day routine, the Samsung French Door Refrigerator has been a blessing. Every day I find one or two new features about the product that I didn’t know about. It’s not only saved me money but has helped made life simpler and that’s what we all want/need, right?
