The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign is the Nation’s Longest Running Fundraiser and it celebrates 123rd Year with the Dallas Cowboys at the Thanksgiving Day Game. This year they will bringing Selena Gomez back to her home state to play during the half time show on Thanksgiving Day. Selena spoke at the press conference saying she was nervous but excited to be performing back. She said she always comes back to Dallas for Thanksgiving to visit family and watch the game. This year she is more than excited to be participating rather than just watching the show.
In its 17th year, the Red Kettle Kick Off show will launch yet another great season of giving. Last year, the American public donated a record $148.7 million to The Salvation Army’s red kettles. Fans and supporters may donate to the Red Kettle Campaign on Gomez’s Online Red Kettle at www.onlineredkettle.org/selenagomez. The top five fundraisers will receive the chance to virtually connect with Gomez through a Google Hangout.
