Gina Gottlich of The Second Floor Bistro – Bar and Bijoux Restaurant Hosts a Food and Wine Pairing Demonstration on November 30
After participating as a judge in New York’s Third Annual StarChefs.com Somm Slam competition last month, Sommelier Gina Gottlich of The Second Floor Bistro – Bar and Bijoux Restaurant has decided to bring the Somm Slam to Dallas! Gina will be hosting an educational demonstration on food and wine pairings on Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m. in The Second Floor’s new private dining room, Privé, located in The Westin Galleria Dallas Hotel.
Gina will be showcasing six wines from her own cellar as well as some pairings she learned at the Somm Slam in NYC including Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc, Cakebread Chardonnay, Laetitia Pinot Noir, Estancia Cabernet Sauvignon and Château La Freynelle Bordeaux. Executive Chef Joel A. Harloff and his culinary team have created some delicious bites specially paired to complement Gina’s wonderful wine choices. The menu will include dishes such as Wild Mushroom Soup, Arctic Char with Bacon Lardons and Frisée and Rib Eye with Potato Puree and Demi-Glace.
