Tei-An Soba House, located in One Arts Plaza at 1722 Routh St., will host a special dinner featuring wines from Coquerel Family Wine Estates on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. with Coquerel Wines’ wine
James Beard Foundation Semi-Finalist and five-star Chef Teiichi Sakurai has planned a five-course dinner to pair with select Coquerel wines for the evening. The menu will feature traditional Japanese cuisine, including sashimi selections.
Barbe, who was born, raised and trained in viticulture and enology in Bordeaux, France, will discuss her unique approach to winemaking, particularly Coquerel’s award-winning sauvignon blancs. She’ll share the stories behind each vintage from bud-break to harvest to bottling.
Tickets for the dinner are $150 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and may be purchased in advance by calling Tei-An at 214-220-2828. Seating is extremely limited. The event is expected to sell out, and reservations are required. For more information about Tei-An, visit www.tei-an.com. For more about the wines, visit www.coquerelwines.com.
