Aggressive Flavors. Elegant Forms.
Zagat and Acura teamed up to launch the newly refined 2012 Acura TL at the beautiful Studio 1019. I spent the evening gawking over this redesigned vehicle and the work of top local chefs exploring the theme of aggressive flavors and the future of luxury tastes.
Top Chef alum Tre Wilcox kept the guests drooling over his delicious bites with his approachable new American cuisine that blends his disciplined style with a passion for creativity signature to Dallas’ own Marquee Grill. I couldn’t get enough of the Marinated Jumbo Shrimp lying on a bed of Chipotle Jack cheese grits and tequila lime sauce. Drool.
Not only was the food to die for, Jason Kosmas brought his flair for contemporary cocktails to the party. Kosmas is a well known bartender around the U.S. and currently oversee all aspects of the beverage program including the wine program at Marquee Grill.
The event had a great mixed crowd, drinks were flowing and a DJ was spinning the best beats. The 2012 Acura TL was front in center and was elegantly the main attraction of the night. The Acura TL was parked in the main room of Studio 1019 with doors wide open for all to venture. A big Thank you to Zagat and Acura for hosting a great event in Dallas!
