Taste over 35 Restaurants at The Iron Fork

Blog· Entertainment· Events

Whole Foods Presents the Dallas Observer Iron Fork, a grand tasting event that will take place on May 8th at the Fashion Industry Gallery. The center stage will feature the Chef Challenge Moderated by Restaurateur Kent Rathbun.  Returning Champion Scott Romano will battle TJ Lengnick of Whiskey Cake.  It’s simple: each chef will receive a basket of ingredients, including one mystery ingredient. It’s up to them to battle for the glory and the coveted Iron Fork award.

Just like every other great food event in Dallas, there were be plenty of amazing restaurants to taste and sample. Participating restaurants include: Abacus, Afghan Grill, Baboush, Bambu, Big Texas BBQ, Bread Winner, Bryan Street Tavern, Cafe Brazil, Crawdad’s of Dallas, Crossroads, Dallas Fish Market, Dine with the King Designs, Dude, Sweet Chocolate, E! Brand Catering, Empire Baking, Greenz, J Blacks, Landmark Restaurants, Lockharts, Mesa Veracruz,  Mozzerella Company, Nosh, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Park Tavern, Primebar, Rathbun’s Blue Plate, Scardello, Snappy Salads, Sundown at Granada, Sweet Tomatoes, Tiff’s Treats, Tiki Tiki, Torchy’s Tacos, Townhouse Kitchen, Wild Salsa, Woodfire Kirbys, Zen Bistro and MORE.

The large number of great restaurants should be a good enough reason to come to the Iron Fork. BUT if it isn’t , then maybe live music from the King Bucks, DJ Sober and Michael Henry Tillman can sweeten the deal.

Iron Fork is on Tuesday, May 8th at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased on Dallas Observers Iron Fork page. General Admission tickets include food samplings from the above mentioned restaurants, beer & cocktail samplings and live music. GA Tickets start at  $35 and cost $40 the day of the event.
