New Year. New Resolutions.
The majority of everyone’s resolutions for the new year is to lose weight and to get in shape. The new year is a great time to reevaluate your current situation and to make a better YOU. Thanks to Fly Wheel, I have been working on becoming a better me for a few months now. I got engaged in October and immediately started their Fly Bride Program. It wasn’t just getting engaged that made me realize that I should start my workout routine. It has always been in the back of my head but I made every excuse in the book to stop myself from making time for myself.
Fly barre classes are ballet-inspired classes are designed to help you achieve a slim, strong, sculpted dancer’s body while you still enjoy yourself. This exercise includes multiple reps of small movements, like lifting and lowering your legs just a few inches off the ground. Aside from that, you will learn good form and alignment to strengthen your core, and each one of these methods will employ different techniques to get you that perfect dancer’s body (or as close to it as you can get) in no time.
All of these classes will give you results in a short period of time, but don’t be fooled by the name and premise. Just because it seems fun and lighthearted doesn’t mean it isn’t hard work. Dancers are known for having amazing physiques and this is why- they work for them! These classes are only an hour long but will kick your butt back into shape.
