Hilton Hotel Set to Open Downtown Fall 2013

Hilton has announced they are opening an upscale, all suite, extended stay hotel in the heart of Downtown Dallas. The new 10-story, 130 suite hotel is under construction and is scheduled to open in July, 2013.

The Hilton has found a great location and central to all activities in Downtown and Uptown. The Hilton Homewood Suites will enjoy fully equipped kitchens, separate sleeping and living spaces. They will provide complimentary internet (which I think ALL hotels should do). It’s ridiculous going to a hotel and having to pay $15 to use their internet for a day. Kudos, Hilton! Enjoy daily full-hot breakfast, evening dinner and drinks Monday-Thursday and grocery shopping service. Keep up with your fitness regimen by taking advantage of the indoor pool, basketball sports court, home theater, pool table and golf simulator. Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown announced a partnership with leading golf equipment companies Cleveland Golf and Srixon for their new Golf Fitting Center so you know it will be amazing.

Mindy Dennis will be joining the team as General Manager. “Mindy has significant experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on management and sales and we believe that her overall strengths and passion for building relationships will be a great asset to the entire Homewood  Suites Dallas Downtown team,” said Greg Malcolm, Regional Director of Operations, Lowen Hospitality.

Another key member that has joined Hilton is Andy Osborne. He will be in charge of networking and assessing the needs of local businesses, working with the General Manager to facilitate marketing efforts, and overseeing sales initiatives that assure the success of the hotel. “Andy has considerable experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on Sales and Corporate Meetings.  We are confident his knowledge and passion for building relationships will be essential in the success of the hotel,” said Mindy Dennis, General Manager at Homewood Suites Dallas Downtown.
