Red Bull Soapbox Race Comes to North Texas

Blog· Entertainment· Food and Drinks

Join Red Bull at their Soapbox Race held on Saturday, September 15th. Hundreds of people submitted their ideas for the Red Bull Soapbox Race but only 44 of the most unique and creative were chosen. Some of the craziness stretches from skateboards and running shoes to a giant piece of cheese with LIVE mice inside.

The racers will be judged by speed, creativity and showmanship by an awesome panel of judges which include Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, X-Games all-star Louie Vito, gold-medalist Rebecca Soni, Retired Cowboys Safety Darren Woodson, Step- Up 3D star Rick Malimbri, The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian, Dallas native and hit show Dallas cast member, Josh Henderson.

Kidd Kraddick in the Morning’s Big Al Mack joined by singer/songwriter and the “First Lady of the Dallas Mavericks” Ali Dee will host the festivities.

Pits open at 11am, racing starts at 1pm. Event is free and open to the public. There will be an off-site shuttle service to and from the event. The Red Bull Soapbox Race will take place at Austin Ranch located at the Tollway and Windhaven in The Colony.
