I love this time of year. It’s nice to see everybody so giving, loving and caring. I’ve made it my purpose to be more mindful of others not just this holiday season but throughout 2016. I absolutely love giving to others, sometimes I think it’s a bit overboard. I get great joy in providing for others and helping them in any way that I can.
Zoe’s Kitchen has helped me spread the joy this season. I was given a few holiday gift bags to share the joy with others. I wish I had a million more bags so I could share with everyone but I made sure the 3 I received went to people with great purpose. The first person I gave to was a neighbor who I haven’t met before. I live in a great neighborhood but with everybody’s busy schedules, it’s hard to meet others and have time to get to know them. Not only was she stoked, she couldn’t wait to take her little one to eat at Zoës.
The next person I surprised with a holiday gift bag is my friend Kim. We have been friends for over 10 years and I love her dearly. Since we don’t get to see each other nearly as often as we’d like because we live far away from each other. It was great to surprise her with a little something that I know she will be able to enjoy with her boy.
Last but not least, I surprised my mom with a holiday gift bag. She was stoked. She has been on a diet and working so hard to get healthy that I couldn’t think of a better gift for her. Zoe’s Kitchen has healthy options with still providing delicious food. The same day that I gave her the gift card, we went to Zoe’s Kitchen for lunch. She was blown away but all of the options they had and that she can find good food without her ruining her diet. I call that a WIN!
