Things To Do at Galleria Dallas This Holiday Season

The three story shopping mecca known as the Galleria just north of 635 is one of my favorite places to visit during the holiday season.  Not only can you shop til you drop, but the Galleria has so many fun events that are offered that you can make a day trip out of it. You can bring your whole family and no matter their age, there is something for everyone.

Here is a list of all the fun activities that Galleria Dallas has going on this holiday season.

SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE
Level 2, near Nordstrom
Adopt an angel through the Salvation Army Angel Tree this holiday season and help others in need.
Through Dec. 8 (Last day to drop off presents is Dec. 9)

VISIT SANTA CLAUS IN HIS VILLAGE
Level 2, near Nordstrom
A must for every holiday season, straight from the North Pole, Santa invites all children to his Village to hear gift
requests and take photos.
Through  Dec. 24 – Santa’s arrival and departure times differ daily, so be sure to check the official schedule

CHANUKAH MENORAH CELEBRATION AND LIGHTING
Level 1, Near the Guest Reception Center
Celebrate Chanukah with our large-scale Menorah. Following the first lighting on Nov. 27, enjoy entertainment,
refreshments and goodies for the kids. As with tradition, another candle is lit each subsequent night of Chanukah.
Through Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. (Lighting)

MACY’S GRAND TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION
All Levels, Center Court
Every show features Missile Toes, Galleria’s ice-skating, back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa Claus, live performances
by Olympic and National Champion-ranked skaters, and local children introduce the lighting of the country’s tallest
indoor tree. Olympic figure skater Kurt Browning kicks off the Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration at Galleria
Dallas for two special performances Every Saturday, Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14 & 21 at 6 p.m.

ILLUMINATION CELEBRATION
All Levels, Center Court
The nation’s tallest indoor Christmas tree illuminates in grand fashion for a special tree lighting choreographed to
magical sounds of the season.
Through Dec. 24 daily at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (no 8 p.m. shows on Sundays)

DALLAS CITYSCAPE
Level 1, near Grand Lux Cafe
Experience the best of Dallas on a miniature scale during the holidays with the DALLAS CITYSCAPE at Galleria
Dallas. Benefitting the East Dallas Community Schools, see iconic Dallas buildings and landmarks made completely
from toy building blocks.
Dec. 14 – Jan. 5
$5 for adults and children ages 2 and up

SLAPPY’S HOLIDAY CIRCUS
Level 1, near Nordstrom
Presented by Slappy’s Puppet Playhouse, experience a classic European Circus with puppets, magic, clowns,
contortionists and jugglers in a fast-paced show that’s fun for the entire family.
Nov. 29 & 30, Dec. 7, 14 & 21 at 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.
