Tips for the Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Blog· Events

St. Patricks Day Parade is one of the best events Dallas has! It’s a time to let loose, have a few beers and have some fun with other Dallasites. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is on March 19th.

Be sure to show up early, don’t get there around 11 expecting to get a good spot to stand or to get a parking spot. The people who know what they’re doing, get there first thing in the morning and camp out a good spot to get their party.

Stadium bleacher seats are available in the Meadow’s Building Exhibitor Area – $20 for adults; $15 for children under the age of 12. Seating is first come first serve, and the parade starts promptly at 11 AM.

During the parade, you can expect some beads and goodies to be thrown your way. Be sure to look at what’s being thrown at you, there are usually some really good coupons and cool promo items.Dallas St Patricks Day Parade

Tips for the Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade

WEAR GREEN – this IS a St. Paddy’s Day Festival so get festive and have some fun. Anything green or St. Paddy’s Day related be sure you’re wearing it. (Wigs, suspenders, leprechaun outfits, and shamrock glasses are all fair game.)

BRING CASH – don’t be the one keeping your friends from moving on to the next spot bc you are trying to tab out. Get some cash for the day. This will make the day go much smoother.

COMFY SHOES – Ladies, heels will not work today. Wear some cute sandals instead, you’ll thank me later.

TAKE THE DART – this will be the cheapest, fastest, and smartest way to travel. You won’t waste any time looking for parking, it costs less than a couple bucks and you won’t have to drive after a long day of drinking.

GET SOME REST – It’s going to be a LONG day, get in some Zzzs the night before so you can hang with the best.

HYDRATE – Many of you will start drinking earlier than you usually wake up, bring some water with you to drink on throughout the day. You don’t want to be “that guy” thats already drunk at 9am.

ENJOY – You will see tons of people you know, drink all day long and act like a fool. Enjoy!

See yall out there! Let me know where yall will be so we can take a shot together… Oh and be sure to take plenty of pictures!
