Enjoy a Night Out at Main Event

Blog· Entertainment

Who said games and bowling is just for kids? This past weekend, my husband and I wanted to do something outside of our normal weekend routine. We called up a few friends and family and had everyone meet us at Main Event Plano.

Some of our guests questioned why we were going to Main Event and ‘what we would do there’ but little did they know it would be an evening full of drinks, games and making memories. I scheduled with the events team for a night packed with food and games. We started the evening with a couple games of bowling while noshing on all sorts of food that was exclusive to my party.

I ordered a package that included food for everybody that joined us. The food was considered appetizers but all 10 of my guests were able completely full afterwards (and we even had leftovers). To be honest, I had no idea we would be getting so much food but it all worked out perfectly. Main Event FoodFood at main EventFood at Main eventI love that we were assigned one waitress who was more than helpful keeping our drinks filled and bellies full. Once we finished up bowling, we were all given a $10 gift card for arcade games and a voucher to play billiards. The best part? The bowling, shoe rental, food, drinks (non-alcoholic), gift cards and vouchers were all part of the package I bought which came out to about $40 per person which is an absolute steal.Games at Main EventI can’t remember the last time we all let loose and played arcade games. Some of our favorites were air hockey and connect four. Since we knew there would be a little wait on a Friday night to play pool, we put our name down on the list before we started playing games. I highly recommend doing this!Connect FourAdult entertainment at Main EventGames at Main eventOnce we were buzzed to play pool, we wrapped our games and spent the rest of the night in the billiards area. I was shocked at how busy all of Main Event was! There were an eclectic group of people there; couples on dates, groups of teens, multiple families, bachelorette parties and groups of friends. There really is something for everybody at Main Event. main event 12 Our night out was a complete success. If you’re looking for a fun night out without breaking the bank, check out Main Event. I highly recommend looking into their package deals if you have a large group going. Not only does the cost go down tremendously, you won’t have to wait because you will have set reservations!

When’s the last time you went to Main Event?

One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. 🔥 Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❤
The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! 🎄 Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. 🤦‍♀️

Your child gets to fully immerse themselves into role playing any job they can imagine. From checking animals at the veterinarian, putting out fires as a firefighter, flying planes in an simulator, creating their own personal logo with Bic, or being a weatherman at WFAA - the options are endless! Kidzania activities are for ages 4 and up.

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
