Aloft is about to make music history again with the first-ever Live at Aloft Hotels Festival, set to take place at Aloft Dallas Downtown on October 19 and 20. The Live at Aloft Hotels Festival brings together all the best elements of Aloft’s massively popular Live at Aloft Hotels performance series in a two-day celebration of providing emerging talent a world stage to connect with new audiences.
The Live at Aloft Hotels Festival will showcase the hottest on-the-verge artists from the Live at Aloft Hotels series. On-The-Verge Artists include:
- Acclaimed U.K. #1 iTunes ranked Blues guitarist, singer-songwriter Martin Harley
- British rock/pop & alternative band from Leeds, The Dunwells
- Edgy indie chanteuse Meiko
- Dallas hometown favorite Johnny Stimson
“Ever since we launched Live at Aloft Hotels, Aloft fans around the world have been telling us how much they appreciate the connection to up-and-coming artists. This festival is our way of thanking them, and bringing them even closer to some very cool new talent,” said Brian McGuinness, Starwood’s Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “Our guests consider Aloft part of their pop-culture experience, whether it’s through a breakout band, an exclusive peek at a television series, or a fun way to use social media. And we’re having a great time as their partner in discovery.” The festival may expand to other Aloft Hotels markets in 2013, McGuinness said.
