With only one other store in existence, Blushing Makeup and Beauty Lounge opens their 2nd store in Dallas. Blushington makes getting ready much easier for all girls in Dallas with great services such as full make up application and lash extensions at an affordable price.
Perfect location next to the Dry Bar
With the popularity of dry bars throughout the nation, Founder Stephi Maron thought there should be a similar concept but with makeup. “We are thrilled to bring our services to Dallas. When the retail space next to Drybar in Highland Park became available, we jumped on the opportunity,” said Maron. “We see this as a one-stop destination for Dallas women and all their beauty needs, whether you’re just getting your makeup done or coming in before or after a blowout. Our unique concept and affordable services allow women to not only get their makeup done for special events but for everyday occasions.”
Maron was absolutely right. I had an appointment at the Dry Bar next door so I decided to set an appointment at Blushington to see what they were all about. With full face makeup applications starting at $40, there is no reason not to try. There are six signature looks to choose from that include: Pure & Simple (natural, barely there makeup), Simply Glowing (sun-kissed face with a little glow), Life of the Party (sexy and fun for a night on the town), Lucky Stars (classic old Hollywood glamour with black liquid eyeliner and red lip), Smoke and Mirrors (defined cheeks and smoky eyes), and Cutting Edge (right off the runway). Instead of choosing one look, I asked my makeup artist to combine a few of the looks for my application. I’m not a fan of a lot of makeup so I went with a more natural look that I could wear throughout the day.
More than just make up applications
The space is too cute for words. Decorated in pink, white and gray, Blushington has is all including iPhone chargers waiting for use while you are getting your make over. Gather your friends and your makeup and sign up for a make up application class. You bring your own makeup and your taught by a professional the proper way to apply it all. The instructor will teach you on one side of your face and you will practice on the other. I LOVED this idea because I hate going into salons and feel like I’m being pushed to buy their products. The make up instructor will let you know if you’re make up is up to par and suggest what is right for your skin.

Great makeup tips! Something I'll add is that more is better when it comes to makeup.
