Collin County Home and Garden Show Supports Local Community

Blog· Entertainment

Collin Country Home and Garden Show This year’s Collin County Home and Garden Show will be bigger and better than ever. The Allen Event Center will be packed with more than 200 home improvement vendors plus over 3000 square feet of outdoor exhibits and gourmet food.

The event center will be transformed into an extravagant home and garden showroom featuring the latest trends, products and techniques in interior design, green energy solutions, landscaping, outdoor design and much more. The show will also offer many “Do It Yourself” workshops during the weekend including a chance to meet home and garden celebrity and TV’s original home stager and designer from A&E’s “Sell This House,” Roger Hazard. Hazard will be holding insightful, tip-driven seminars and will answer attendees’ project-specific questions.

The Collin County Home and Garden show is a one-stop shop for consumers who want to comparatively shop while supporting their local businesses. Many vendors will also be featuring show only discounts, making a visit to the show well worth it.

New this year, guests will be able to chow down at the Gourmet Food Truck Roundup featuring sushi, homemade Italian pasta, gourmet sandwiches, hamburgers and sliders, Cajun dishes, Korean tacos, English pub food and more. The trucks will be located in the parking lot at the show entrance all weekend. The Texas Adopt a Greyhound Society will also be there looking for homes for their rescued greyhounds, and guests can sample many tastes of Texas at the show’s Go Texan booths.

In addition to gourmet food trucks and pet adoptions, the home and garden show will support the local community by raffling off a beautifully crafted playhouse during the weekend of the show with a winner being picked Sunday afternoon. Proceeds will benefit the local Habitat for Humanity.
