Being raised in the South has taught me good manners and a great love for comfort food. I was raised eating beans and cornbread as well as mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. Although I can’t eat comfort food every night of the week because I would gain tremendous amounts of weight, I do sneak a hearty meal or two in every week.
