Christmas is going to be so much fun this year since we have a little one of our own. This year more than ever, I’ve been stalking the newest and hottest toys around. We’ve started a wish list for our little one and my nieces and nephews.
Every year, I pull my hair out trying to figure out gifts for everybody. I have nine nieces and nephews that range from three months to 14 years old. I love buying gifts for them and going all out but I want to make sure what I am buying is something that they actually want. Nothing is worse than wasting money on useless gifts that won’t be used or enjoyed.
This year, I decided I needed to get more organized with my gifts so I made a Christmas Wishlist for each of the kids. This will help me keep notes on what the kids actually want and to keep my self accountable. Get the FREE Christmas Wishlist Printable towards the bottom of this post.
Instead of running to a million stores this year, I’m trying to choose one store to do the bulk of my Christmas shopping. This will eliminate stress and havoc for the most part. Since all of my nieces and nephews are obsessed with toys and technology, most of their gifts will be coming from Best Buy.
We received the Holiday Toy Catalog in the mail and was instantly able to mark a few items off the list of things to buy. Here are a few toys that we have added to our list:
Osmo Gaming Kit
Encourage your child to think creatively and solve problems with this Osmo Gaming system for the Apple iPad. Featuring a reflector and base to aid with learning, this system transforms your tablet into an educational tool. With easy setup and a universal design, this Osmo gaming system is ready to work with any iPad in just minutes.
We have this and play it often (and we’re in our 30s). It’s great for all ages and I love how engaging the content is. Since we’ve had so much fun with it in our house, we’re going to buy another and gift it to our older nieces and nephews. Read about our thoughts on the Osmo Learning Kit.
Lego Batmobile
Chase Man-Bat and the Kabuki Twins with this The LEGO Batman Movie Batmobile construction set. With giant multidirectional wheels and a dual cockpit for Batman and Robin, the Batmobile has three driving modes for racing, monster truck-style roving and parallel parking. This 581-piece The LEGO Batman Movie Batmobile construction set comes with weapon accessories for action-packed hot pursuit play.
Since I have six nephews, Legos are always on the top of our list. Not only do they love playing with them, I know their parents enjoy it because it keeps them busy doing something away from any time of screen. It’s a great way for kids to use critical thinking and fun hands on toy.
Parker the Bear
Let your tot enjoy learning while caring for this Seedling Parker augmented reality bear. It activates AR effects on a mobile device via the Parker app for interactive doctor play, and it can also be played with on its own. This cuddly Seedling Parker augmented reality bear comes with toy doctor tools for exciting pretend play.
Christmas is my absolute favorite and love that I am getting on top of shopping before waiting til the last minute (like usual). The best part is that Best Buy has most of my items and my Christmas Wishlist will help tremendously in getting me organized.
