Hawaiian Falls Announces Summer Camps

Blog· Entertainment

Hawaiian Falls Splash CampHawaiian Falls announced their summer camp programs for all five of their Texas waterparks.  Kids will enjoy week long camps full of activities, character building lessons and summer fun. Each camper receives a 2013 season pass good for unlimited access to all five waterparks, daily lunch for the week-long camp, plus a Hawaiian Falls Camp T-shirt.

“The focus of Hawaiian Falls Splash Camps is character development,” said Emily Bennett, marketing director at Hawaiian Falls. “The five C’s feature character development, compassion, consideration, camaraderie and conduct.  These five C’s will be embraced throughout the week while incorporating loads of  fun. We want kids to walk away from our camp with more than tan lines.”

Hawaiian Falls offers two Splash Camps: Camp H20 and a Junior Lifeguard Program. The five-day camps will take place 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 3 – August 16 at all five locations. Early drop off at 8 a.m. and late pick up at 5:30 p.m. are available. Complete details are available at http://hfalls.com/splashcamp/.

Camp H20 is a camp for the inner scientist, ages 6 -12.  Explore the wonders of science and nature in a weeklong camp with lessons on manners and leadership, featuring fun experiments on water science, chemistry, weather, physics and the environment. The full-day camp is $250, including a season pass, or $200 for those who have already purchased a 2013 season pass.

Junior Lifeguard Program makes learning lifeguarding skills fun for ages 11-14. Enjoy a program that includes training in rescue skills and drills, general pool operations, hands on training for slide dispatching, public swim and more.  This program DOES NOT certify participants as lifeguards, but it gives them a head start on becoming a future lifeguard.  All Junior Guard participants are given an opportunity to complete community service hours outside the program hours as part of our character development program.  All participants must be able to swim 50 yards without stopping.    The full-day camp is $250, including a season pass, or $200 for those who have already purchased a 2013 season pass.

Hawaiian Falls’ regular operating schedule is daily 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.  Hawaiian Falls’ season passes are good for admission to all five waterparks, including Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco.  More information is available at http://www.hfalls.com.
