Richardson residents will soon have a new burger spot to call home, Haystack Burgers & Barley, opening mid-April at the Richardson Heights Shopping Center.
Owned and operated by local residents Kevin and Jenny Galvan and Rob and Christine Wondoloski, Haystack will be a true neighborhood burger joint with a quirky, southern vibe that offers fresh, mouthwatering burgers, hand-cut fries, creative sandwiches and selection of salads. Haystack will feature local handcrafted beers on tap and The Haystack signature drink.
“We’re looking forward to offering our fellow neighbors a unique and delicious burger option here in Richardson,” says owner Kevin Galvan. “My family can ride our bikes to the restaurant, and we hope our passion for our community and our food will shine through to all of our guests.”
The Galvan’s industry experience runs deep, and their family is best known for ties to Dallas’ Tex-Mex history. Most recently, Kevin owned Ricardos Tex-Mex in Allen. Kevin brings his knowledge of Dallas dining and industry experience to Haystack where he developed the menu and will manage daily operations.
Haystack Burgers and Barley is located at 100 S. Central Expressway, Suite 17. For more information, visit Haystack on Facebook at facebook.com/haystackburgers or call 972-479-9424.
