Monitor Your Family’s Screen Time with Circle by Disney

Blog· Family· Tech

Technology has taken over many of our lives. We get into a habit of constantly staring at our phone. We post updates about what we eat, what we’re wearing and all about our kids. It’s an ever changing landscape but I love it. One big obstacle with technology is learning when enough is enough. Many of us have a horrible habit of staring at our phones instead of actually making conversation at dinner or checking our email after hours. We’ve become creatures of habit and it’s not necessarily a good thing especially because the younger generations are just as bad.
I have 8 nieces and nephews (and another on the way). I love spending time with them and learning all about their personalities. They’re all very smart and know more about electronic devices than me which is a shot to my ego but I’m proud of them for being so in tune. Just like adults, it’s easy for them to become addicted to their phones, tablets and computers. What’s the easiest way to regulate screen time? Circle with Disney has been an answer to limiting phone time and being able to filter what content each child is able to see.

How does Circle with Disney work?

It’s simple. Circle pairs wirelessly with your home Wi-Fi and allows you to manage every device on your network. Using the Circle app, families can create unique profiles for each family member. From here, kids will have a connected experience that is designed just for them.

Set daily time limits for each family member on any app, platform or category you want. With Time Limits you can customize how much time your kids spend on any given platform and even set a total online time for the day. Time Limits offers the ability to limit daily screen time for platforms, apps, and categories, painlessly.
Create a BedTime for each family member and their devices. Simply set a BedTime, when the devices will disconnect from the Internet, and an awake time, for when the devices will reconnect. When BedTime kicks in devices say goodnight all on their own.
Set individual filter levels for each family member. Circle has 4 preset age levels and allows for further customization by platform, app, and category. Choose one that matches each family member’s age and interests, filtering out all inappropriate content.
Reward your children with more screen time. Give your kids a little more screen time by bumping up the daily Time Limits, extend BedTime a little bit, or disable that OffTime you set up for after school.
Pause the internet with a simple tap of a button.   With the press of a button, you can Pause the Internet, disabling access to a specific device, individual, or the entire home. Pause one of your kids because it’s time for homework or everyone because it’s game night. Either way, Circle has your back.
Circle Insights gives you the ability to compare time online today, last week, or even last month. Per site or by interest. You can even find out where you waste time the most.    Check out where your family spends their time online―by platform, category and website. With Insights, you can see the total time spent online and where, either by day, week, or month!
If you’re looking for a solution to help monitor your family’s screen time, Circle by Disney is the solution. You can purchase the hub at your local Best Buy or online.
