Who is ready for GAME DAY?!
The NCAA Football National Championship Game is tomorrow, January 5th and we’re gearing up for all of the great events leading up to the game. Parking lots will open at 8am and Free Fan Transportation will begin from select hotels at the same time.
Stay in Frisco
No need for you to drive back and forth from your house to the stadium. Get a hotel room in Frisco and make a min-vacation out of it. Frisco Convention and Visitor Bureau announced earlier today on their Facebook page there a couple hotels still have rooms left. It’s not too late to book your room!
Powerade NCAA Youth Clinics
If you have a child that is between the ages of 7-14, sign them up for the Powerade NCAA Youth Clinic. The clinic is managed by USA Football and NFL Players. Participants will learn valuable information about Football, fitness, and sport instructions during this hour clinic. This event is completely free but you must register to attend. Register at the official page or try your luck with the limited walk up registration that will begin at 8am.
Free Fan Festival
Start the game off on the right foot by stopping at the FREE Fan Festival. No ticket to the game, no problem! The Fan Festival is open for the public to enjoy. The events and fun you will have the at the Fan Festival are endless. Why not try to be a quarterback, ride a mechanical bull or attend cheer on your favorite team at the Pep Rally?
Tail Gate
What’s a football game without tailgating before? Gather your friends for food, fun and football!
Gates Open
Be one of the first 2000 people into the FC Dallas Stadium and receive a FCS Championship Scarf. Gates open at 10:30, get there early to make sure you secure yourself a scarf. Quantities are limited and only available while supplies last.
Pep Rally
No matter which team you are rooting for, you will have a chance to cheer them on during the Official Pep Rally. North Dakota State Pep Rally is from 10:15am-10:30 then right afterwards Sam Houston State will have their Pep Rally. Both Pep Rally’s will be in Tailgate Town.
Live Music
Independent George is Texas’ premiere rock and roll cover band. They’ll be rocking the stage from 11am-11:45am. The band focuses on high energy, crowd-engaging dance and party music from the ‘80s to present, with a few classic rock hits from the ‘70s mixed in along the way.
Game Time
Let the game begin! Kick off is at 12pm and will be a great game against two rivals. Do you think North Dakota State will defend their championship or will Sam Houston take it home?
Discover Frisco
Just because the game is over, doesn’t mean that the celebration has to stop. Frisco is full of great restaurants and bars. FC Dallas is centrally located to all the fun spots in town. If you’re not sure where to go before or after the game, check out the Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau for the hottest spots.
