Mattress Firm Foundation Helps Fight Pancreatic Cancer

The holiday season is my favorite time of the year but also the most frustrating when having to decide what to buy my loved ones.  I hate to buy presents that I know they aren’t going to just LOVE or to buy something I know they won’t be thankful for. I have noticed more and more companies giving an incentive to buy their products. I love this because in most cases big brands are helping charities during the holiday. Mattress Firm supports Pancreatic cancer research and awareness through its Mattress Firm Foundation.  Mattress Firm Foundation was established in 2011, in response to the tremendous need for funding, research and awareness. The organization has since contributed close to $600K and thousands of volunteer hours towards pancreatic cancer research and awareness. Every dollar that is raised goes directly to clinical trials that have proven highly successful in extending the survival rate and point to discovering a cure within our lifetime.

The Mattress Firm Foundation plays a significant role in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer, the most under-funded, under-recognized and least-studied of all major cancers. Pancreatic Cancer receives only two percent of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget for research, so a cure for the disease depends on outside support and contributions.
