If you’re looking for events to attend in December, The People’s Last Stand has you covered. Bring in the holidays at your favorite watering hole.
- Toys for Toddies: The People’s Last Stand will be hosting its first Toys for Toddies drive! During the week of December 17th – 21st, patrons that donate a toy or $5 will receive a complimentary Hot Toddy drink. All of these proceeds will be donated to Children’s Medical Hospital.
- Starving Artist Showcase: Taking a stand to do some good, The People’s Last Stand will host a Starving Artist Showcase on December 18th at 7:30 p.m. The show will feature and auction off the work of 15 local artists and will include a raffle where customers can either purchase a raffle ticket or donate a canned good for their chance to win prizes. Drink specials will be available throughout the night and all proceeds from the evening will benefit DFW Youth Art Programs, with canned goods being donated to a local Dallas homeless shelter.
- The Last Day Party: What better way to commemorate the end of the world than with a party you will remember until the end of time? The People’s Last Stand is saying sayonara in style on December 21st, with a party that will feature a specialty menu, live entertainment, and drink specials from 9 p.m. -2 a.m. (or until the world ends).
- Throwback Thursday: Soothe your soul this winter with live jazz music every Thursday now through mid January, from 8 p.m.-12 a.m., at The People’s Last Stand Throwback Thursday. The line-up will feature a different jazz trio each week performed by local artists.
- No Cover New Years: Say sayonara to 2012 and toast to 2013 at The People’s Last Stand No Cover New Years, where celebrations include the latest spins by DJ Johnny 5 and a champagne toast at midnight!
