The Second Floor Bistro Bar Offers Three-Course Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving Day is a time for relaxation and family memories. This year, let The Second Floor handle the hard work so you can spend more time with family and friends! Enjoy a three course meal The Second Floor Bistro and Bar on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd from 11am-10:30pm.

Executive Chef Joel A. Harloff and his culinary team have created an exciting three-course menu to delight all of your senses. Start with Butternut Squash & Apple Soup, Herb & Beet Pappardelle Pasta or Watercress & Fennel Salad. Move on to the main course with Brined Turkey Breast, Molasses & Currant Roasted Pork Steamship or Pan Seared Rainbow Trout, and guests have the choice of Huckleberry Bread Pudding or Spiced Pumpkin Cake for dessert.

And since no great meal is complete without wine, Sommelier Gina Gottlich has carefully selected palate-pleasing wines to complement each menu item, which guests can take advantage of for an additional $20.

Thanksgiving Day Menu

first course

butternut squash & apple soup 

thyme, cinnamon crème fraîche, pepitas

s.a. prum “essence” riesling, mosel, germany

herb & beet pappardelle pasta

oven roasted tomato, preserved meyer lemon

josh cellars cabernet sauvignon, sonoma coast

watercress & fennel salad

goat cheese, raspberries, hard cider vinaigrette

90 plus sauvignon blanc, marlborough, new zealand

 

second course

brined turkey breast

organic mushroom and herb dressing, pomme purée

waterbrook, “mélange blanc” white blend, columbia valley

molasses & currant roasted pork steamship

garnet yam risotto, bordeaux spinach

le grand noir pinot noir, limoux, france

pan seared rainbow trout

minnesota wild rice, gala apple sauce, parsnip chips

j. lohr “arroyo vista” chardonnay, monterey

third course

huckleberry bread pudding

bourbon caramel sauce, chambord anglaise, cinnamon ice cream

taylor 10 year tawny port

spiced pumpkin cake

pecan praline ice cream, vanilla bean maple syrup

michele chiarlo “nivole” moscato d’asti, italy
