A Peek Inside Design & Dine 2015

The 2nd Annual Design & Dine took place at the gorgeous BMW dealership located in Plano. The Design & Dine event is an elegant evening full of food, fun and fashion (with a few glasses of wine). Upon entering, guests are given a wine glass and a tasting card. We were able to walk freely around the dealership visiting the many different vendors sampling food and wine. We couldn’t get enough of the Pinot Noir from Manuscript Wines or the Shishito Peppers and Pulled Pork Minis from Pepper Smash. After tasting a variety of wines and restaurants, we were ready for the fashion show. There were 5 featured designers, Persona, Melancholic Design, MidPoint by Devaun Robinson, Neobantu and Ese Azenbor.

I loved watching the models flaunt their clothes and bring an upbeat spirit to the fashion show. It gave the whole “runway” experience a much needed facelift. This was my first year attending Design & Dine and loved every minute of it. It was a great chance to try a bunch of restaurants that I hadn’t had before, sip on many glasses of wine and learn about local designers making their way through the fashion world. Don’t miss this event next year!
