Watch Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, Mark Cuban and more famous faces will slug it out on the diamond June 30th at Dirk Nowitzki’s Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game. Dirk’s baseball game will have some great highlights including The Whataburger Heroes Special Olympics All-Star Softball Game (3:30 p.m.), the Baylor Medical Center at Frisco Celebrity Home Run Derby with HITS400 (5 p.m.), followed by the Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game at 6 p.m. and a fireworks finale to top it off.
The public will have a chance to swing with the stars during the Celebrity Home Run Derby. To qualify, interested participants must try out by June 22 at HITS400, a new luxury indoor batting cage in Plano. Four long ball hitters will be selected to suit up and compete against the celeb players on June 30.
Tickets are on sale now for $7, $9, $13 and $16 at Ticketmaster (800-745-3000 or ticketmaster.com) or at the Dr Pepper Ballpark Box Office during office hours. Will call will open at 10 a.m. June 30. Tickets also will be available at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation. Longtime Heroes partner Whataburger is once again sponsoring the Special Olympics All-Star Softball Game. Baylor Medical Center at Frisco and HITS400 are the presenting sponsors of the Celebrity Home Run Derby.
