Local Charities Can Win BIG With Your Help #TeamStripes

Blog· Charity· Events

#TeamStripes

We’re kicking the GMC Hashtag Challenge with a bang! If you participate you can win a Country Fair VIP Ticket Pack.

There will be three events today (July 12th) going on around different locations around town. It’s your chance to support Snowball Express and Patriot Paws Service Dogs. If you post a picture with ‪#‎TeamStars‬ (For Snowball Express) or ‪#‎TeamStripes‬ (For Patriot Paws) to Twitter or Instagram during the events below, the radio stations will enter you to win a VIP Package for Country Fair 2013.

  • 10a-3p: Team Stars with KSCS at Denton Water Works Park, 2400 Long Road, Denton
  • 12p-2p: Team Stripes with the WOLF at WetZone Waterpark, 5304 Main St. Rowlett
  • 7:30p-9p: Team Stars & Stripes with KSCS at NRH2O Waterpark, N. Richland Hills

If you’re not able to make it, just Retweet your teams pictures but make sure you use the correct hashtag depending on which team you are supporting. Both organizations do amazing things to help our community.

Snowball Express supports the children and the surviving spouses of the great men and women who have given their lives for our country since 9/11. What many people tend to forget is that the soldier is not the only one giving and serving. Each family member of every soldier also serves. They live each day knowing that their husband or wife, son or daughter, mom or dad may never come home. And when a soldier dies, these families are left behind to carry on without their hero. We must continue to support these families who have given so much. We owe it to the heroes who gave their life, and to the spouses and children who gave us their hero. If you wish to cheer on Snowball Express, use the hashtag #TeamStars on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and post a picture of the GMC Sierra.

The other organization that is competing is Patriot Paws Service Dogs. The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of  their highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS intends to build partnerships with the state and community organizations to help develop and support this goal. If you wish to cheese on Patriot Paws, use the hashtag #TeamStripes on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and post a picture of the GMC Sierra. If you don’t have a picture, use the one in this post and hashtag away!

DFW area GMC Dealers will donate $8,000 to the charity that receives the most hashtagged photos on Twitter and Instagram between 7/9/13 and 8/18/13 at 11:59 pm Central time. The runner up will receive $2,000.
