Foodies and football fans alike will huddle up this spring to take a bite out of childhood hunger in our community. Hosted by Abacus Executive Chef/Proprietor Kent Rathbun; Dallas Cowboy DeMarcus Ware #94; and Cowboys legend Preston Pearson, the 7th annual event is presented by Lockheed Martin and benefits the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB).
It’ll be game on as guests tackle 17 gourmet food stations from top DFW chefs and enjoy a spirited evening featuring: live Emerald City tunes; raffles; and current and former Dallas Cowboys hosts and special guests, including Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Don’t forget to put in your bid for the live and silent auction going on throughout the night for one of a kind memorabilia such as products from Tiffany & Co., American Airline Center suites, eight course meals and more!
You can also except food… lots of delicious food by your favorite local chefs and hottest restaurants (Blythe Beck from Central 214, Jaime Corona from The Place at Perrys and Samir Dhurandhar from Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, to name a few).
100 percent of the event proceeds will go towards supporting the NTFB’s children’s programs including: the Food 4 Kids backpack, Kids Cafe and pantry programs, which aim to tackle childhood hunger here in North Texas.
