I partnered with Lowes to surprise someone deserving by giving them a porch refresh and thank them for being awesome. I knew instantly I would surprise my older sister @digitalmolly. Molly has a giving heart and has taken care of me and my family more times than I count. For example - I texted her when I was on my way to her house. She had no idea why I was coming over but her response was that she had made me and my family curry for dinner. It's those type of little things that make Molly who she is.

I was able to grab everything from Lowes for her porch under $50. I surprised her with fresh mums, straw bale and a new wreath. I love the final look! We're living in such a strange time right now, I encourage you to #BuildThanks with small acts of kindness. Love your neighbor ❤

As I'm sitting here thinking about how much I don'

As I'm sitting here thinking about how much I don't want to think about cooking dinner or deciding what to make, I'm reminiscing about our dinner from @maggianoslittleitaly. We ordered the family meal with chicken marsala and spaghetti meatsauce. The meal also came with a tiramisu, our choice of salad and rolls. 🙌 Don't skip on the Date Night add on. You receive 2 half bottles of @imagerywinery wine and deck of conversation starters. Having a child during a pandemic + a rowdy toddler means date night is non existent. The Date Night add on was the perfect touch to our meal! 🍷#celebratewithmaggianos #datenight #dateideas

Raise your hand if you're over cooking every single meal, every single day! GUILTY. One of our favorite ways to enjoy dinner is family meals from local restaurants. Our latest and greatest was from @lawrystheprimeribdallas . Every week they offer a different menu for to-go family meals. Each family meal feeds 4 people but we had tons of leftovers that we have been eating on throughout the week. There was so much food - salad, bread, side dishes, entree and dessert! We set a time for pickup and everything was waiting for me at the hostess stand. It took minutes to grab the food and go. (If you prefer to dine in, you can do that too! Reservations are required.)

SIX YEARS MARRIED. Seems like yesterday we were at the courthouse getting hitched. Before kids, we would frequent so many Uptown bars that no longer exist like Idle Rich Pub where this picture was taken. Now we are quarantined at home with 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 crazy kids. Crazy how fast life can change but I'm here for it. Happy anniversary to my better half! ❤

AD: Life has changed quite a bit for us over the past few months between quarantine and adding a new family member. To keep things somewhat normal, we love grabbing food from our favorite spots. It's a nice change from cooking and a great way to get out of the house. Not only do we love @culvers burgers but also all the dessert options 😍 We appreciate all the measures they're taking to keep everybody safe by having all employees wearing masks and gloves. If you opt to dine in, there is hand sanitizer readily available and frequent cleaning and disinfecting. What's your favorite menu item at Culvers?
