Family Fun at Main Event

Blog· Entertainment

Finding a place for everyone in my family to hang out is hard. We have ages ranging from 1 year to 90 years. Many times we usually end up at someone’s house because it’s the easiest solution, but not always the funnest. We all have busy schedules, so when we get together we want to be able to chat and talk but also have a good time and let loose. We found that Main Event is the perfect place for our family to meet and have a good time.Family Fun at Main EventSince we have so many different age ranges, we found that starting with bowling always worked out best.  I was happy to find out that Main Event has socks (for free!), in case you forget yours which seems to happen a lot in the Summertime when we all wear sandals. By starting with bowling, it allows our family to trickle in on their own time. We’ll get two lanes and set everybody up. If they aren’t there when it’s their turn to bowl, we’ll let one of the little ones take their place. If you have a large group, you can reserve a lane up to 48 hours before the expected date just call in or schedule it online.Main Event

After we bowl for an hour, we head straight to the video games. Since there is also a bar and billiards, some of the adults will mosey over to that area and enjoy themselves while the kids play games. One of my favorites games is the basketball game to see who can score the most points. That’s one game that my husband and I always make sure we play.

Another game that is an absolute favorite is air hockey! It’s a game that all ages love to play. I love that Main Event has lots of tables so we can all play at once. Main Event Air Hockey

If you’re looking for Summer Camp for your little ones, Main Event is hosting camps throughout the Summer. Main Event’s Summer FUNcamps provide a FUN half-day of activities full of learning and collaboration with friends.  Main Event’s camp counselors will keep the kids entertained with bowling FUNdamentals, bowling play, video game play, laser tag battles and more. Campers also receive lunch, a camp T-shirt and a lanyard.
