Life has changed quite a bit in the past month. We welcome baby Bryce to our family and couldn’t be more happy. The past month has been a whole of lot learning for my family. My husband and I have been married almost 3 years and together for about 6 years so adding such a sweet little addition to our lives has been all about adjusting. We have spent the past 9 months getting ready for our little one as much as we could but we both knew it would be a whole new ball game once he arrived in our lives.
One change that we instantly noticed is how completely content we are with having our little one and changing our ways. All the things that we used to do that seemed like such a big deal have been thrown out the window and we barely even noticed. We’ve had a lot of down time over the past month. Many of my days are spent hanging out in our living area watching tv or relaxing on the couch while I wait for Bryce’s next feeding time. Who knew a baby eats every two hours and how exhausting it would be to make sure he is fed? That sounds crazy after I typed it, but seriously, it’s exhausting.
Since I’m not usually one to ever sit around and do nothing, it’s been quite an adjustment. One way I’ve been dealing with the change is finding new movies that I haven’t seen and binge watching them. I’ve always loved cartoons so I’ve been watching some of the latest movies thanks to Best Buy’s ever expanding kid’s and family movie section. My latest binge? Sing. If you haven’t seen it Sing is an animated musical comedy about finding the shining star that lives inside all of us. This has been my view for the past few weeks.
I took full advantage of the movie gift pack offered from Best Buy where we purchased three select DVDs and received a free Sing lunchbox. We bought Hop, Despicable Me 2 and Pets.
What other DVDs should we add to Bryce’s collection?
