Your Guide to Austin City Limits + Ticket Giveaway

Music lovers rejoice! The first week of Austin City Limits was amazing and we can’t wait for the second week of the ultimate music festival. Since we are only half way through this amazing festival, I wanted to give you all the info you need to keep the party going through the second weekend.Your Guide to Austin City Limits #ACLFest

Music: These will be lots of it! ACL Festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 8 stages and more than 130 bands! It’s (almost) guaranteed that one of your favorite bands is playing in Austin so check the full schedule of performances. From Beck, Outkast and Lorde (2014); to Bassnectar, Weezer, The Civil Wars (2012); The Eagles, LCD Soundsystem (2010); Yeah Yeah Yeahsand Pearl Jam (2009), their lineups are nothing short of epic.

Food: What type of event would this be without delicious food? With signature ACL fare such as the Hot and Crunchy Mighty Cone, vegetarian and gluten-free considerations and options far from just funnel cakes or turkey legs, the Austin Eats Food Court showcases Austin’s premier restaurants. Don’t miss the Farmers Market that offers food from a large variety of local vendors. (Full list of vendors)

Vendors: Music and food aren’t the only things to check out while at Austin City Limits, there are lots of amazing vendors too. One vendor that you must check out is the AT&T Gigapower Gallery. You can see live art performances each day from Austin’s own artists. The artists will be spraying live graffiti by SprATX artists and creating large 5×7 murals onsite, and there will also be daily “speed sessions” where the artists will rapidly create a work of art in 1 hour, demonstrating the speed of U-verse with GigaPower. A few of the confirmed artists that will be on site will be Grim, G52, Lucas Aoki, Truth, Gent and Boza!ACL Festival ATT Swag

We all love free stuff, right? Inside the lounge, learn more about U-verse with AT&T GigaPower, choose a custom free item, watch live streams from each stage and charge all your devices. Want to see if you’re eligible for blazing-fast speeds up to 1Gbps with U-verse with AT&T GigaPower? Check HERE. If you’re wanting to get some awesome festival swag, definitely stop by and see them!

Hi im writing because I just wanted to let Dallas Socials know that what theyre doing is so amazing! Thanks for even giving us a chance to enter such an awesome giveaway. I wasnt fortunate enough to gather funds in time to attend ACL on my own due to being laid off from my job, but im still keeping hopes up. I believe in paying it forward, if I would win these tickets i would turn around and with the money i saved i would help feed the homeless in my hometown of san antonio. There are dozens of men, women, and children without a home. I too was homeless once and had nowhere to run to, no money for food. Since that time, i set out to help others in their time of need. Whether it be small like giving change or water to helping shelter and feed my fellow people. Im just out here trying to do good and never expect anything in return. Id like to experience a once in a life time event such as ACL. For someone like myself, its the little things that count, the smallest gestures give so much meaning. Some things that we take for granted are those that others are praying for. God bless the Dallas Socials and ATT. Thanks.

Although I’ve been to many concerts, I have yet to experience the rush of a music festival. I want to be as close as I can to the stage and see the sea of music lovers all simultaneously dancing to the beat of the song. I want to be around fellow twenty one pilots fans and sing my heart out to all the words as my favorite band crowd surfs above me. I want to know that after my favorite band performs comes another artist I highly enjoy. I would not be able to contain myself to know that so many of my favorite musicians are all in the same park. I would love to go to ACL to experience one of the best feelings I will ever feel in my life.

I would love to go to ACL because I have never been to a music festival before, but I do have a passion for music and would love to see everyone sing along and have fun! ACL is not something I can afford especially being a college student, so winning a wristband would be great, thank you!

Why I would love to go to ACL? The answer is simple: I love music and the vibe any musician gives off at their concert. I want to feel that specific vibe and more at ACL who is hosting many of my favorite bands.
