One of our favorite things to do is play video games. Both my husband and I play games daily whether it be on our phone, tablet or computer. I can guarantee that at any moment in our house, one of our devices has a game open. For me, games have always been a stress reliever. I can start playing a game and get sucked in for hours. It allows me to forget about deadlines, work or any stress that may be current in my life.
Since my husband and I both love games, I’ve been trying to find games that both of us can play together. Here are our usual go to games that are the best for multi-players.
Best Games for Multi-Players
Guitar Hero – We love this game, especially when we want to throw back a few drinks and rock out. We have the Wii U version which allows us to upload new songs and play against others online. It keeps things competitive!
Street Fighter – The roster is a mixture of old and the new, with mainstays like Ryu, Chun Li, and Cammy trading blows with exciting newcomers like Laura, Rashid, and Necalli. Lose yourself in the action and storylines thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 technology that takes the next-generation visuals to new heights. Take it to the streets and get ready to fight.
Mario Kart – This classic game is perfect for all ages, both young and old. You’ll find yourself racing on walls in a haunted mansion or upside-down over Princess Peach’s castle. You can play up to 12-player online competitive play.
Sea of Thieves – Who wouldn’t want to assume the roles of pirates? Journey through islands riddled with traps, then set sail on the high seas with your buddies and take on rival pirates. The game will also allow players to craft their own stories using a variety of tools, ensuring every adventure is unique.
Super Smash Brothers – This is the best fighting game for a group. It’s a game that is easy enough for all ages to play and gives you the feeling that you can win at any moment. Play with up to 8 players.
Wii Sports – Easy and addictive. We really like to play Wii Bowling. How can you not love ‘bowling’ in your living room? This is great entertainment for groups of people. If you have a Wii, you probably received this with your bundle. If not, you can buy a used copy at Best Buy for as cheap as $10.00.
Since we love having guests over. We upgraded some of our entertainment technology so we can provide fun for everybody. We bought two new devices. One is the Actiontec MyWirelessTV2. It’s a transmitter and receiver that lets you wirelessly connect an HDMI-enabled media player and stream live high-definition content up to 100′ away. This allows you to connect your television to your gaming console (and any blu-ray player/dvd) without having to use cables!
We use the ScreenBeam Mini2 Wireless Display Receiver to wirelessly mirror anything from your phone or tablet onto your HDTV: video & audio, pictures, apps, presentations, and much more. Use ScreenBeam Mini2 to share virtually any local or online content which is great when I’m on my phone and want to share a youtube video or hilarious facebook post to others in the room. It’s so simple and love that it’s all wireless so there is no messy wires to deal with. You don’t need an existing Wi-Fi network or wireless router for ScreenBeam Mini2 to work.
What others games would you add to the list? We’re always looking for fun, entertaining games that all ages would love.
I assume you are also playing the Pokemon Go. I went to the Dallas Arboretum yesterday and it seems that about half the people there were playing the game… Including me and my daughter.
Yes, my brother and I have been playing mario kart for 25+ years and no plans on slowing down anytime soon…….although we don’t seem to be improving. hmmmmm
