Disney on Ice has always been one of our favorite events to attend in Dallas (even before having Bryce). It’s such a fun event that is great for all ages – young and old! Disney on Ice is returning and we couldn’t be more excited that this year’s theme is “Mickey’s Search Party“.
Embark on a quest with Mickey Mouse and pals as they follow Captain Hook’s treasure map for clues to find Tinker Bell after he attempts to capture her magic. Journey across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney Pixar’s Coco into the magnificent and mystical Land of the Dead and discover a vibrantly colorful performance with skeletons atop sway poles dancing over the audience in a beautiful cultural celebration of family.
Travel to the wintry world of Arendelle and sing along with Elsa as video projection creates a kaleidoscope of crystals to help build her ice palace. Witness Belle lift into the sky as the enchanted chandelier comes to life high over the ice for onlookers seated above and below. Demonstrate the power of teamwork when Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie recruit the Green Army Men and the audience for a daring rescue in Andy’s room. Board the Jolly Roger and laugh hysterically as the hilarious pirates flip, tumble, and twist on air tracks, stilts and more in an effort to showcase their talents for Captain Hook.
Sail away with Moana on her daring voyage across the ocean and bravely encounter the fiery wrath of Te Ka. And make memories with your whole family during Aladdin and The Little Mermaidas the search party becomes an all-out celebration.

Every Disney on Ice show I have been to has been magical. There is not a bad seat in the house and tickets start at just $15. The performances are on ice, in the air and through the seats so everybody gets in on the action. All seats are reserved so you will know exactly where you’re seated.
Here are a few things to know before you go to Disney on Ice:
How much are tickets? Tickets start as low as $15 – very affordable!
Where can I buy Disney on Ice tickets? You can purchase them online through Ticketmaster or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
Is the show suitable for toddlers? Yes, I took my one year old last year. There are some loud moments and a few special effects that might scare them but overall it was great.
Should I dress for the cold because the show is on ice? Believe it or not, it’s only 10 degrees colder in the arena than it is outside. I would suggest wearing your normal comfortable clothes and bringing a light sweater in case you get chilly.
Is there a difference in pricing between child and adult tickets? No, all tickets are the same price for ages 2 and up.
How long will the show last and is there an intermission? The shows average between one hour and a half to two hours. This includes a 15-20 minute intermission.
Can I bring my camera? Yes, but only non professional cameras (with lenses shorter than 6 inches). Photos are only to be used for personal use.
Let me know if you have any other questions. See you at the show!
