Blog

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

Dogs have been a part of my life from the day I was born. I’ve had a dog since as early as I can remember. I learned at an early age dogs aren’t pets, they’re family.

There isn’t one dog that has been part of our family that I can’t give you the complete breakdown of details about them from when we got him, his name, birth date, breed and other crazy details that only a proud momma would know. Our dogs are treated with respect and shown a ridiculous amount of love because they are truly part of our family.

When you’re part of the family, it means that you eat good. Our meals are home cooked and I do everything I can to make sure to feed my family healthy meals full of nutrition. The ingredients that we put in our body matters, it directly correlates to the way we feel, the way the think and the way that we live. It’s amazing to see the difference in the way my family acts when we eat homemade meals at home compared to fast food. While I don’t make my dogs meals from scratch, I know that they deserve food with the same quality of ingredients that we eat.

There was a time period when I was making my dogs treats homemade. I loved knowing exactly what was in their food and being able to make it with ingredients straight from my pantry with food that I would eat too! After having a baby, I wasn’t able to do it as often because of timing but I was so excited when I discovered Milo’s Kitchen® Homestyle Dog Treats at Walmart.

Milo’s Kitchen® Homestyle Dog Treats aren’t like any other brand around. They’re made with 100% real chicken and 100% real beef as the number 1 ingredient. Each treat is made totally free of artificial flavors and color. They’re made here in Spanish Fork, Utah and Siloam Springs, Arkansas, which is an added plus. My pups are loving the Milo’s Kitchen® Chicken Recipe with Wild Rice & Spring Vegetables and Milo’s Kitchen® Beef Recipe with Real Brisket & Garden Vegetables.

Our dogs get treats often, so I love knowing that I can give them treats that are made with real ingredients and not harmful like so many others that are sold in the stores. It’s amazing that there absolutely no corn or wheat in the treats. The first ingredient in our Milo’s Kitchen® Homestyle Dog Treatsare chicken and beef, that’s a rarity in any dog food but love seeing the change. Our dogs deserve only the best and I feel confident that they are getting it with Milo’s Kitchen® Homestyle Dog Treats.

Because I know you love your dogs as much as I love mine, I am sharing a free dog word search printable. This printable has 15 words to find and is a great activity for the kids during the hot summer months or during a rainy day.
