We’re always on the hunt for family friendly fun activities in Dallas. We are stoked that they are both at a great age to attend Monster Jam this year taking place at AT&T Stadium. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Monster Jam features world-class athletes locked in intense competitions of speed and skill.
If you’ve been to any kind of event with little ones, you need to know all the details before going. Before kids, I would never do any research but I learned real quick that the more you know before these kind of events only help to your advantage when you have kids in tow.

It’s an unforgettable part of the Monster Jam experience where special connections are made and lifelong fans are born. The pit pass is an additional fee on top of your regular admission ticket. You can buy these tickets with your regular admission or after, find tickets to the Pit Pass in Dallas here.
What can I bring with us for our Kids?
One thing is for sure, bring a pair a noise canceling headphones for your kids for any Monster Jam event. It can get very loud and we want to protect those little ears. We bought both boys a pair of noise canceling headphones that were around $15 each.
We plan on bringing an umbrella stroller for Myles so we can control him in the venue when we’re trying to get from place to place. The umbrella stroller will fold up and fit under the seats. If you plan to bring a larger stroller, there are places at AT&T Stadium to check it in.
Each venue is different so I would highly suggest checking the venue website to see what items are prohibited. If you plan to attend the Dallas event, here is the link to the AT&T Stadium prohibited item list.
What ages are appropriate for Monster Jam?
All ages are able to attend Monster Jam! Under 2 years old does not require a ticket but that does mean that need to sit on your lap. If you have an older 1 year old that can sit independently, I would suggest purchasing a ticket for them so every body is comfortable and has extra space.
