The holidays are officially here and I am so excited. This time of year makes me so happy – the weather, the atmosphere and the holidays are the perfect combination. I recently discovered two radio stations that are non stop Christmas music and it’s the most amazing thing ever. You know you have serious Christmas spirit when you start listening to Christmas music in the middle of November. One more thing is happening this winter that I can not wait for – two Christmas musicals presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.
The first production coming to town is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer which will take place at Music Hall at Fair Park November 25-27. I haven’t been to a Musical at Fair Park that I haven’t absolutely loved and I know that Rudolph will be no different. Rudolph the Musical will practically transport audience members into the television special as songs drive the plot while familiar and nostalgic set design with projections, costumes and characters are brought to stage.
Following two successful years of touring North America, the world’s most famous reindeer and a holly jolly cast of iconic characters, including Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius and the Abominable Snow Monster, will help Santa save Christmas during three North American tours that will visit more than 50 cities this holiday season.
This production is suitable for the whole family, so bring the kids and enjoy this production. It is only in town for a few days so don’t miss your chance. Tickets are very reasonable starting at $20, are now on sale at www.DallasSummerMusicals.org, by phone at 1-800-514-ETIX (3849) and at The Box Office, 5959 Royal Lane, Suite 542 in Dallas, TX.
